Common questions
How loud should I set it?
Just under your ringing, not over it. If you notice the sound more than the ringing, it's too loud. The app's listening-level line and volume cap are there to help.
The sound stops when I lock my phone
In the iPhone app it keeps playing with the screen locked. In the browser version, iPhones stop web audio on lock; keep the screen on with Scenes, or use the app.
Can I listen to a book or the radio at the same time?
Yes. Start the sound, then open Audible, Podcasts, SiriusXM, iHeartRadio, TuneIn or live news from the Listen along row. The sound turns itself down while they play and back up after.
Does the person I call hear the sound?
Not through the phone. The sound drops to your Call level while you talk; on speaker they may hear it softly in the room. In a FaceTime video call, Share My Screen lets them see your scene.
My recording has no video / shows the broadcast sheet
After tapping Start Broadcast, swipe the sheet down to return to your scene. Newer versions wait until you do, so the first frame is the scene.
How do I cancel Premium?
Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Tinnitus Relief+ → Cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the paid month. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is this medical treatment?
No. It plays background sound for comfort. For ringing in one ear only, with hearing loss, dizziness or pain, or that pulses with your heartbeat, see an audiologist or ENT.
