What makes this different

Most tinnitus apps play white noise and stop there. This one was built around the rest of your day.

It runs under your life, not instead of it

Start the sound, then open your audiobook, the news, the game or a phone call from inside the app. It turns itself down while they play and comes back after. You don't have to choose between covering the ringing and hearing what you wanted to hear.

Tuned to your ringing, not a generic hiss

Find your pitch once. The Matched sound and notch therapy are built around that number, and the app remembers it.

Made for the desk and the nightstand

Real video scenes — fire, ocean, snow, rain on the window — that work on a laptop by day and a phone face-down by night, with a sleep timer going out and a wake-up fade coming in.

Nothing to sign up for

No account, no email, no tracking, no ads. Your pitch and settings stay on your phone.

Honest about what it is

Comfort and habituation, explained plainly. No cure claims, no streaks that scold you, and a How it helps section that tells you when to see an audiologist instead.

Priced so you'll actually keep it

Everything free for 30 days, the basics free after that, and Premium at the launch price of $0.99 a month, shared with your family. The browser version is free for everyone, forever.

See it in 30 seconds

First you hear a tone like tinnitus. Then the sound and scene come in, with a book playing underneath. Turn your volume up.

How it works

Tinnitus is loudest in silence. Give your hearing something steady to settle on and the ringing stops being the loudest thing in the room.

1

Find your pitch

Play a test tone and slide it until it matches your ringing. The app remembers it.

2

Cover it

Pick white, pink or brown noise, rain, ocean, fire — or the Matched sound built around your pitch. Set it just under the ringing, not over it.

3

Go on with your day

It keeps playing under your audiobook, radio, the news or a phone call, turns itself down while they play, and fades out when you fall asleep.

What's in it

Seven sounds + your own mix

White, pink, brown, rain, ocean, fire and Matched. Layer any two, or add your own sound file.

Notch therapy

Remove a narrow band at your pitch from the sound. Some people find this calms the ringing over weeks of daily use.

Scenes

Real video — rain on the window, a fire, the ocean, snow, stars — full screen with the sound. For the desk by day and the nightstand at night.

Listen along

Start the sound, then open your book, podcast, SiriusXM, free radio or live news from inside the app. The sound ducks under it.

Call button

Phone or FaceTime someone from the app. The sound drops to a whisper while you talk and comes back after.

Sleep timer and wake-up fade

Fade out over 15 minutes to 8 hours. In the morning the sound rises gently so you never wake to silence.

Lock screen, Siri, widget

Controls on the lock screen and Dynamic Island, "Hey Siri, start Tinnitus Relief," a home-screen widget and a Control Center button.

Record and share

Record the scene with everything playing — book included — and send it to someone who should try this.

Safe listening

A volume cap and a quiet reminder after hours at a high level. Louder isn't better; just under the ringing is.

Scenes

Real footage, not animation. Tall on a phone, wide on a laptop or TV.

How it helps

Plain answers, no promises. This app is for comfort and is not medical advice.

Why sound helps

Tinnitus is loudest in silence because there's nothing else for your hearing to pay attention to. Steady sound gives the brain something to settle on, so the ringing fades into the background. The sound should sit just under the ringing, not drown it out; quieter works better over weeks than louder does tonight.

Matched and notched sound

Find your ringing pitch in the app. The Matched sound puts energy right where your ringing is, so it blends in. Notch therapy does the opposite: it removes a narrow band at your pitch from the sound. Some people find this calms the ringing over several weeks of daily use. Both are habits, not quick fixes.

Habituation: the real goal

Most people who do well with tinnitus don't make it quieter; they stop noticing it, the way you stop noticing a fridge. That takes months of steady, calm exposure: sound at night, something to listen to by day, and less checking whether it's still there. The log and streak in the app make the routine easy; they don't grade you.

When to see someone

Ringing in one ear only, ringing with hearing loss, dizziness or pain, or ringing that pulses with your heartbeat is worth a visit to an audiologist or ENT.

Why was this made?

By someone with tinnitus who got tired of apps that only play white noise. The point was never just to cover the ringing; it was to keep listening to books, the radio, the game, and family — and to fall asleep by a fire.
